Svea Grünkorn (on the right) explains why she became member of Gedeelde Weelde: “Gedeelde Weelde is a great example of citizens providing what governments and businesses fail to accomplish: to change the system of production and consumption, and to find local solutions which are globally sustainable. To me, supporting as member at the food cooperative is a nice opportunity to practically contribute to the sustainable development of Maastricht, while nurturing the body with good food and the mind with interesting connections and new inspiration. While each member has a different background and different skills, we all share the same goal: making Maastricht more sustainable in a fun and cooperative way.”
